Revenue Management Specialist

The Revenue Management Specialist plays a pivotal role in supporting the Revenue Management team at Pelican Grand Beach Resort. This position is designed for individuals who are passionate about analyzing hotel group and room performance to optimize revenue strategies.

With 156 elegantly appointed rooms, multiple dining options, and exceptional amenities, we pride ourselves on delivering memorable experiences.
Key Responsibilities- Assist the Director of Revenue Management in implementing effective pricing strategies for transient and group inventory.
- Generate and analyze various reports to support revenue performance and decision-making.
- Manage the Central Reservations System and Global Distribution Systems to ensure alignment with property-level inventory strategies.
- Oversee group block activities, including monitoring rooming lists and cutoff dates.
- Collaborate with the accounting department to resolve disputes and maintain accurate guest ledger balances.
- Monitor competitor rates and hotel performance to inform revenue strategies.
- Participate in strategy meetings and contribute to the development of revenue management tactics.
Candidates should possess the following:
- A minimum of 1 year of experience in Reservations or Revenue Management.
- Experience in the hospitality industry, preferably in a hotel with a minimum 3-star rating.
- Proficiency in relevant software, including Microsoft Office Suite and hotel management systems.
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
