Role Summary
This role is responsible for overseeing, strategizing, and managing the functions and operations of a specialized unit or small department. The individual will establish and enforce policies and procedures, manage financial resources, organize tasks, and prioritize objectives. This position acts as a key liaison with university stakeholders and the broader community, operating under general guidance with significant autonomy for decision-making.
Key Responsibilities
  • Possess a thorough understanding of healthcare processes and compliance regulations.
  • Demonstrate technical proficiency with revenue cycle management software solutions.
  • Inspire and lead a diverse team towards achieving strategic goals.
  • Exhibit exceptional verbal and written communication skills, engaging professionally with a wide range of individuals, including executives and subject matter experts.
  • Maintain a high level of organization, attention to detail, and analytical thinking, coupled with strong problem-solving capabilities and accountability for project outcomes.
  • Have comprehensive knowledge of the software development lifecycle (SDLC) and project management methodologies.
  • Engage in special projects and undertake additional responsibilities as required.
  • Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a dynamic team environment.
  • Flexibility to work at various locations and shifts as needed.

Work Arrangement
This position allows for hybrid remote work, with expectations for weekly on-site presence.
Compensation
Salary is commensurate with education, experience, and skills.
Work Schedule
Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with Electronic Medical Record (EMR) systems, particularly Epic.
  • Background in the healthcare sector.

Essential Qualifications
