About Us:
Driver's Edge Auto Repair is a well-established automotive service provider committed to delivering exceptional maintenance and repair solutions to our clientele. We are currently on the lookout for a capable Automotive Service Specialist to enhance our team.


The Automotive Service Specialist will execute essential service tasks, including oil changes, tire services, alignments, fluid flushes, and more.

Working in collaboration with ASE Certified Automotive Technicians, you will receive the training required to elevate your career.

Compensation:
Starting at $13.00/Hr. to $16.00/Hr.

Key Responsibilities:
Perform tire mounting/dismounting, wheel balancing, and tire rotation.

Conduct oil changes and other fundamental services.

Utilize the company's Multi-point Inspection and/or Repair Order to accurately document vehicle conditions.

Maintain cleanliness throughout the shop, including the service area, tire racks, showroom, and exterior, to ensure a welcoming environment.


Safely drive vehicles while adhering to all traffic regulations, including transporting customers and picking up parts and supplies from vendors.



Conduct State Safety and Emission Inspections (where applicable) on vehicles ethically, following all company and state guidelines.

Adhere to all safety protocols and report any concerns to your direct supervisor.

Be available to work flexible schedules, including weekends as necessary. Additional duties may be assigned by your supervisor.

Uphold the core values of Driver's Edge Auto Repair and comply with all company policies and procedures as outlined in the Employee Handbook.

Qualifications:
Basic understanding of mechanical systems and components is preferred.

Valid Driver's License in the state of employment.

Ability to obtain a State Inspector License is a plus.

High School Diploma or equivalent is preferred.

Working Conditions and Physical Requirements:


The Automotive Service Specialist will encounter moderate to loud noises, dust, exhaust fumes, lubricants, and other materials.

The work environment may vary in temperature, including extreme heat or cold based on external conditions.

The use of safety goggles or other personal protective equipment may be necessary in these environments.

The Automotive Service Specialist must meet the following physical demands:

Stand for up to eight hours per day and navigate various areas of the facility.

Bend, stoop, kneel, and crouch regularly; must have full range of motion with arms and hands and be able to handle objects frequently.

Lift and/or move up to 10 pounds regularly and up to 70 pounds frequently.

Communicate effectively with customers and shop personnel.

Vision sufficient to detect color, depth, and focus.

Previous automotive experience is preferred, but we welcome motivated and hardworking individuals with a passion for the automotive field.

Candidates should possess a high level of motivation and be able to thrive in a fast-paced environment where there is always work to be done.

Must have a valid driver's license and be able to pass a pre-employment drug test, motor vehicle record check, and background check.
