Job Summary

The Shipping Supervisor role is a critical position within the Pactiv Evergreen, Inc. organization, responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the Shipping department. This individual will lead a team of professionals to ensure the safe and efficient movement of goods, while maintaining a high level of quality and accountability.

Key Responsibilities
  • Coordinate and manage the shipping process, ensuring timely and accurate delivery of products
  • Lead and develop a team of shipping professionals, providing guidance and support to achieve departmental goals
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and implement process improvements
  • Develop and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including customers and vendors
  • Monitor and analyze shipping metrics, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions
Requirements
  • Proven experience in a shipping or logistics role, with a strong understanding of supply chain principles
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and develop a team
