Job Summary

The Regional Renovation Specialist is a key member of the 24 Hour Fitness team, responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and organization of our health club facilities. This role requires a high level of attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Cleaning and Maintenance: Clean and dust walls, mirrors, countertops, glass, and windows. Sweep, mop, scrub, and vacuum floors of all areas of the club, including locker rooms, weight areas, cardio areas, office spaces, hallways, and stairs.
  • Equipment Maintenance: Clean and dust all weight and cardio equipment. Restock supplies and assess the upkeep of the supply room.
  • Waste Management: Empties clubs' garbage and recycling containers.
  • Special Projects: Performs special projects as assigned by management.
  • Wet Area Maintenance: Cleans and maintains wet areas of the club, including pool decks, vacuuming pools, cleaning steam rooms and saunas, and conducting regular pool chemical testing.
  • Minor Repairs: Performs minor cosmetic repairs on equipment, including rust removal, touch-up painting, and re-labeling.
  • Collaboration: Partners with the Facility Technician to perform cleaning duties on equipment as outlined in the preventative maintenance guide.
  • Painting: Performs minor painting as approved or directed by the Regional Operations Manager and/or District Manager.
  • Supply Management: Uses all janitorial supplies in accordance with product labels and club manuals.
  • Reporting: Reports all newly identified facility maintenance issues via the Service Channel.
  • Training and Education: Works with local club team members to educate them on proper cleaning procedures and methods.
Requirements
  • Cleaning Practices and Procedures: Knowledge of cleaning practices and procedures.
  • Communication Skills: Ability to effectively communicate verbally and in writing.
  • Independence: Ability to work independently in the absence of supervision.
  • Attention to Detail: High level of attention to detail.
  • Relationship Building: Ability to establish and maintain cooperative working relationships with those contacted in the course of duties.
Qualifications
  • Education: High School Diploma or General Education Diploma (GED).
  • Experience: Six months of janitorial experience.
Physical Demands
  • Physical Activity: Regularly required to stand, walk, and use hands and arms. Frequently required to climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. Regularly required to lift up to 25 pounds. Occasionally required to lift up to 100 pounds.
  • Environmental Conditions: Regularly exposed to moving mechanical parts. Noise level in the environment is occasionally loud.
Travel Requirements
  • Travel: Travel between clubs to service multiple facilities will be required.
