Position Overview

The Quality Assurance Technician plays a critical role in maintaining the integrity of beverage production by conducting thorough quality assurance audits. This position ensures that both company and customer standards are upheld while adhering to all relevant regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct regular audits of beverage production to ensure compliance with industry standards.
  • Utilize various analytical equipment including Refractometers, pH Meters, and High-Performance Liquid Chromatography (HPLC) to perform product analysis.
  • Standardize equipment prior to use and ensure the availability of necessary reagents and materials.
  • Collect and store retention samples for future reference.
  • Assist in product audits and ensure that non-compliant products are appropriately segregated.
  • Document analytical results promptly and communicate any deviations to management.
  • Participate in Quality System audits and contribute to the development of Food Safety Management Programs.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP).

Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor's Degree in a Science-related field preferred.
  • Minimum of one year of relevant experience in a production or manufacturing setting is preferred.
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail are essential.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word is required.

Physical Requirements:

This role requires the ability to lift and move products weighing up to 50 pounds and involves regular standing, walking, and use of hands for various tasks.
