Job Summary

University Physicians Association is seeking a detail-oriented and organized Patient Service Representative to join our team. As a key member of our front office staff, you will be responsible for ensuring a smooth and efficient patient experience.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Greet patients in a friendly and timely manner, ensuring a positive first impression of our practice.
  • Verify patient demographic and insurance information, and collect co-pays as necessary.
  • Process patients in a timely manner, maintaining good patient flow through the practice.
  • Answer patient inquiries regarding registration information or billing questions, and refer complex issues to medical staff as needed.
  • Schedule patients with appropriate physicians and document scanning into electronic health records.
Requirements:
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a focus on patient satisfaction.
  • Time management and organizational skills, with attention to detail.
