New Home Sales Manager Job Description
In this pivotal role, you will lead our dynamic sales team towards achieving unparalleled success in the homebuilding industry. You will spearhead our sales strategies, foster a culture of excellence, and drive growth while delivering exceptional customer experiences. With a focus on integrity, innovation, and collaboration, you will play a key role in shaping the future of our company and transforming the lives of our customers. As a New Home Sales Manager, you will be responsible for:
  • Sales Team Leadership: Lead, coach, and train a high-performing sales team to achieve company goals.
  • Business Development: Drive new business development initiatives to meet or exceed sales targets.
  • Sales Process Participation: Actively participate in the sales process to ensure goal achievement.
  • Market Analysis: Conduct competitive market/trend analysis to inform strategies and contribute to sales forecasting, budgeting, and goal setting.
  • Document Accuracy: Ensure accuracy and prompt submission of sales documents and contracts.
  • Event Planning: Organize sales events for brokers and customers to enhance sales opportunities.
  • Product Knowledge: Maintain product knowledge through ongoing training and vendor sessions.
  • Sales Presentations: Continuously enhance sales presentations to achieve high performance standards.

Required Skills and Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you will need:
  • Bachelor's degree in business/sales field or associate's degree with equivalent experience.
  • 5 years of sales and customer service experience, including leadership in real estate teams and/or new home sales.
  • WA, OR, and/or ID Real Estate License required.
  • NSS preferred, not required.
  • Highly motivated with a drive to achieve sales targets.
  • Effective at organization, multitasking, and time management.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Skilled negotiator with a proactive problem-solving approach.
  • Effectively utilize CRM tools and train team members on CRM usage for thorough lead follow-up.
  • Effective presenter, comfortable with public speaking.
  • Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).
  • Ability to lift to 15 lbs.
