Role Summary

The Educational Center Support Specialist plays a crucial role in fostering a friendly and inviting atmosphere for students, parents, and educators. This position assists the Center Directors in managing schedules, welcoming students and teachers, and performing various reception duties. Responsibilities include handling inquiry calls, confirming appointments, preparing the center for instructional activities, and executing other administrative tasks as required.

Additionally, the Specialist will assist in onboarding and assessing new students as directed by the Center Director. Monitoring the quality of instruction and program effectiveness is also essential, along with maintaining regular communication with families regarding student progress. Daily tasks encompass cleaning and sanitizing the center and preparing educational materials for both students and teachers.

Qualifications

  • Preferred two years of experience in an office setting
  • Associate's degree or higher is advantageous
  • Must exhibit a friendly and professional demeanor with strong customer service skills
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently
  • Attention to detail is essential
  • Proficient in computer usage and willing to learn center-specific software
  • Strong organizational skills and self-motivation
  • Capable of performing well under pressure
  • Must uphold confidentiality standards
  • Adaptability to change and willingness to handle additional tasks as needed
  • Ability to create a professional and welcoming environment for students, families, and the community
  • Professional appearance and punctuality in accordance with company standards
  • Availability for evening and Saturday shifts is required
