Job Title: Assistant Controller

At Axios Professional Recruitment, we are seeking an experienced Assistant Controller to join our team. Key Responsibilities:
  • Participate in the development of major corporate economic strategies, objectives, and policies for the company.
  • Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial results, including balance sheets and profit & loss accounts.
  • Oversee the preparation of weekly financial reporting to analyze manufacturing KPIs.
  • Assist with inventory management, including month-end journal entries, OSMI and NRV preparation and reporting, and monitoring and managing detailed inventory levels.
  • Review, revise, and develop new standard operating procedures.
  • Collaborate with the Controller to ensure the coordination of standards and financial policy/principles of the Franke group.
  • Prepare reports summarizing and forecasting company business activity and financial position in areas of income, expenses, and earnings based on past, present, and expected operations.
  • Support the Controller in managing budget preparation, budget proposals, and prepares supporting documentation and justification.
  • Assist with audits of company accounts.
  • Coordinate with Human Resources all aspects of employee relations, including interviewing, hiring, coaching, counseling, disciplinary action, complaints, scheduling, training, and development.
Requirements:
  • BS/BA degree in a related field.
  • Minimum five years prior related work experience.
  • CPA or CMA required.
  • SAP experience preferred.
  • ERP experience required.
  • Manufacturing or distribution experience preferred, not required.
  • Bilingual in English and Spanish preferred, not required.
