Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough observations of construction progress on civil infrastructure projects, including water/wastewater facilities, pump stations, and pipelines.
  • Mentor and supervise junior field staff as needed, ensuring they have the necessary skills and knowledge to excel in their roles.
  • Collaborate with other Field Representatives/Inspectors and Project Managers to ensure seamless project execution.
  • Read and interpret construction drawings and specifications, identifying discrepancies or conflicts within the documents.
  • Document observations and findings, providing detailed reports to stakeholders.
  • Serve as the senior inspector on projects as needed, providing guidance and oversight to ensure high-quality results.
  • Perform other duties as required, including participating in quality control initiatives and contributing to the development of best practices.
Preferred Qualifications
  • 10+ years of experience in infrastructure construction projects, with a strong focus on civil infrastructure.
  • Technical school or Associate degree in a relevant field, such as construction management or engineering.
  • Relevant industry certifications, such as OSHA or API.
  • Ability to interpret construction schedules and contract documents, including plans and specifications.
  • Experience with trenchless pipeline installations, including jack and bore or micro-tunneling boring machine (MTBM) operations.
Requirements
  • High School diploma or equivalent.
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in construction, with a focus on civil infrastructure.
  • Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
  • Strong written communication skills, with the ability to produce clear, concise reports.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong focus on collaboration and communication.
  • Pass a pre-employment drug screening and random drug testing.
