Infrastructure Reliability Specialist

As an Infrastructure Reliability Specialist at Booz Allen Hamilton, you will collaborate with the team to develop robust systems by constructing a resilient infrastructure. Your responsibilities will include establishing redundancy, deploying monitoring solutions, and automating processes wherever feasible. You will minimize repetitive tasks through scripting and enable self-healing capabilities. This position offers an excellent opportunity to advance your expertise in cloud technologies while expanding your experience in site reliability engineering.

Key Qualifications:
  • Proven experience in deploying, configuring, and managing Linux server environments.
  • Familiarity with designing, developing, deploying, or testing in Amazon Web Services (AWS), utilizing tools such as EC2, S3, ELBs, RDS, VPCs, security groups, CloudTrail, CloudWatch, or IAM permissions.
  • Experience in implementing, troubleshooting, and maintaining systems while diagnosing and resolving issues across applications, operating systems, communications, or infrastructure.
  • Capability to provide systems and account administration aligned with system requirements.
  • Experience in supporting the escalation and communication of status updates to management and internal stakeholders.
  • Willingness to support shift work.
  • Possession of TS/SCI clearance with a polygraph.
  • High School diploma or GED with 7+ years of IT experience, Associate's degree with 5+ years of IT experience, or Bachelor's degree with 3+ years of IT experience.
  • Ability to obtain Security+ CE, SSCP, CCNA-Security, or GSEC Certification within 6 months of employment.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience with network devices, including firewall management.
  • Understanding of trouble ticketing systems and workflows.
  • Knowledge of government security protocols and policies.
  • Ability to quickly navigate challenges and prioritize issues effectively.
  • Experience working in a dynamic and collaborative team environment.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Possession of Security+ CE, SSCP, CCNA-Security, or GSEC Certification.
Clearance Requirements:

Selected candidates will undergo a security investigation and must meet eligibility criteria for access to classified information; TS/SCI clearance with polygraph is mandatory.
