Position Overview:

As a Cloud Infrastructure Specialist, you will leverage your expertise in establishing cloud environments and managing computer networking, storage, and virtual networks. Your role will be pivotal in assisting clients to modernize their IT frameworks and tackle their most pressing challenges.

In this position at Booz Allen Hamilton, you will collaborate closely with cloud architects and engineers to oversee server configurations for contemporary cloud solutions. You will enhance your skills within a DevOps framework, focusing on the establishment or provisioning of virtual machines and networks while utilizing cloud service providers to support our clients' significant missions.

With access to our innovative internal labs, you will have the opportunity to expand your skill set and explore diverse methods to address our clients' challenges. Whether you are involved in developing, deploying, or managing IT infrastructures for essential server and network components, you will have the latest technology and brightest colleagues at your disposal.

Qualifications:

  • 4+ years of experience in creating tools and processes to enhance DevOps or DevSecOps maturity through automation of builds, regression testing, monitoring, and managing releases across various environments.
  • 2+ years of experience in diagnosing, triaging, and resolving issues related to CI/CD pipeline failures or performance issues.
  • Experience in developing enterprise Cloud-native solutions.
  • Experience in provisioning computer networking and storage, as well as setting up servers, including virtual machines or networks.
  • Ability to devise solutions to complex challenges within a collaborative team setting.
  • TS/SCI clearance with a polygraph.
  • Bachelor's degree or 8+ years of relevant experience in DevOps in lieu of a degree.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in developing enterprise Cloud-native solutions, including Kubernetes, Docker, AWS, Jenkins, or Azure.
  • Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python, Bash, or Boto3.
  • Familiarity with automated testing frameworks.
  • Experience with Infrastructure-as-Code methodologies.
  • Ability to create and enhance continuous automation across multiple technical stacks.
  • Experience in troubleshooting and resolving issues with both open-source and commercial tools in public Cloud environments.
  • Master's degree.
  • Security Engineering or Cyber Engineering Certification.
  • AWS, Azure, or GCP Certification.

Clearance Requirements:
Applicants selected will undergo a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information; TS/SCI clearance with polygraph is required.
