The Substance Use Disorder Program Clinical Supervisor plays a critical role in addressing and managing substance abuse issues among the incarcerated patient population.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Providing clinical supervision to SUD counselors
  • Carrying a caseload, conducting groups, and completing treatment plans
  • Providing coverage in the absence of SUD counselors
  • Participating in local meetings as assigned
  • Assisting the SUD program director in obtaining necessary information for reports
  • Ensuring program compliance and the delivery of quality SUD services
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A Master's degree in social work, counseling psychology, or a similar field
  • A substance use certification (CADC, CAADC, licensed chemical dependency professional, or CCDP)
  • Preferably, a license (LCSW, LPC, and/or LCDP)
  • At least 2 years' experience in an SUD treatment program
