Position Title: Psychologist Supervisor at DelDOT

The Psychologist Supervisor at DelDOT is responsible for leading clinical operations across multiple residential initiatives aimed at supporting youth aged 6 to 17. This position entails managing all aspects of youth programming, making critical decisions regarding admissions, providing oversight and mentorship to clinical personnel, facilitating clinical discussions, and engaging with various departments within the organization. DelDOT is dedicated to serving a diverse group of youth.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Administer, evaluate, and interpret psychological assessments
  • Conduct interviews and observations to identify mental health issues
  • Collaborate with external organizations to formulate treatment plans
  • Evaluate individual challenges and create tailored treatment strategies
  • Deliver psychotherapy and other therapeutic interventions to individuals and groups
  • Practice psychology in accordance with ethical guidelines
Qualifications:

Candidates for the Psychologist Supervisor position at DelDOT must fulfill the following requirements:

  • Possession of a valid Psychologist license in Delaware or eligibility for licensure
  • Demonstrated experience in supervising staff
Additional Criteria for Department of Services for Children, Youth and their Families:
  • A minimum of two years of post-licensure experience working with children or adolescents
