Job Description

The Patient Service Representative is responsible for delivering exceptional patient experiences through positive interactions, effective communication, and timely resolution of patient needs. This role requires a strong understanding of patient demographics, insurance information, and appointment scheduling processes.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide outstanding customer service to patients and families through phone, email, and in-person interactions.
  • Verify and update patient demographic and insurance information in CS-Link.
  • Schedule appointments and manage patient flow to ensure efficient use of physician time.
  • Collect co-payments, reconcile payments, and provide receipts to patients.
  • Assist with managing physician schedules and identifying opportunities for process improvement.
  • Process and track referrals and authorizations for various insurance types.
  • Monitor and assess workflow to identify areas for improvement.
  • Communicate policies, procedures, and services to patients in a clear and respectful manner.
