This role operates under the supervision of a Registered Nurse or physician, showcasing exceptional communication abilities, personal integrity, and effective collaboration with patients, families, healthcare providers, staff, and external organizations as necessary.

The position spearheads educational initiatives related to wound care within the hospital and provides guidance to patients and their families on wound-related topics.

Although this role does not directly oversee clinical personnel, as the leader of the hospital's wound care program, this individual plays a pivotal role in guiding the clinical team on wound treatment protocols.

Continuous professional development and updates on educational and treatment methodologies in wound care are vital components of this position.
