LPN Ambulatory Care Specialist
Job Summary:The LPN Ambulatory Care Specialist is a vital member of the multidisciplinary team responsible for delivering high-quality patient care and promoting clinical outcomes in the pediatric hematology oncology clinic. This role involves performing various duties, including starting IVs, performing simple wound dressings, and notifying the RN of any changes or abnormalities in the patient's condition.
Responsibilities:- Provide patient care and support in the ambulatory setting
- Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to achieve clinical outcomes
- Perform routine tasks, such as starting IVs and wound dressings
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members
- Current LPN licensure in the state of Kentucky
- No experience required
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
