Customer Service Specialist Job Description

This role is crucial to the success of our retail stores. As a Customer Service Specialist, you will work closely with wholesale and retail customers to understand their needs, provide expert advice on Sherwin-Williams products, and recommend solutions to meet their requirements. Your primary goal will be to deliver exceptional customer service, ensuring maximum client satisfaction while consistently meeting sales targets.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide exceptional customer service, responding to customer inquiries and resolving concerns in a timely and professional manner.
  • Work closely with customers to determine their needs and provide personalized recommendations on Sherwin-Williams products.
  • Process sales transactions accurately and efficiently, adhering to company policies and procedures.
  • Meet or exceed sales targets, maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction and loyalty.
  • Stay up-to-date with product features, ensuring a high level of product knowledge and expertise.
  • Maintain a clean and organized store environment, adhering to company standards and expectations.
Requirements:
  • Must be at least 18 years of age.
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the country of employment without needing sponsorship for employment work visa status now or in the future.
  • Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 lbs. frequently and up to 70 lbs. on occasion.
  • Must be willing to work all scheduled hours, including evenings and weekends.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Valid, unrestricted driver's license.
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Previous experience working in a delivery, retail, or customer service position.
  • Previous experience selling paint and paint-related products.
  • Ability to read, write, comprehend, and communicate in more than one language.
