About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Utility Maintenance Associate. As a key member of our Club Support Center team, you will play a vital role in maintaining the cleanliness and organization of our warehouse and retail spaces.

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintain high standards of safety and sanitation for members and team members
  • Perform general maintenance and cleaning duties, including wet and dry mopping, sweeping, vacuuming, carpet extracting, washing glass, emptying trash receptacles, and pulling pallets
  • Operate floor scrubber, trash compactor, and cardboard baler machines in a safe and efficient manner
  • Restock maintenance/cleaning supplies and ensure supply areas are clean, neat, and organized
  • Perform minor and routine building repairs and notify management when major repairs may be required
Requirements
  • Must successfully complete required training and certification processes
  • Prior maintenance or janitorial experience preferred, but not required
  • Prior retail/wholesale experience preferred
  • May be less than 18 years of age to perform parking lot cart functions; must be over 18 to operate equipment and enter age-restricted areas
Work Environment

This role requires frequent exposure to company-authorized cleaning agents and occasional exposure to paint and company-authorized chemicals. You will work in both indoor and outdoor environments with regular exposure to outdoor weather conditions.

Compensation

The pay range for this position is $15.00-$18.00 per hour. At BJ's Wholesale Club, we carefully consider a wide range of non-discriminatory factors when determining salary. Actual salaries will vary depending on factors including but not limited to location, education, experience, and qualifications.
