Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Facility Maintenance Manager to join our team at AMC Theatres. As a key member of our facilities team, you will be responsible for implementing and overseeing all facility-related maintenance programs and procedures to ensure our theatres meet the highest standards of cleanliness, safety, and maintenance.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform daily, weekly, and monthly building inspections to identify necessary repairs and maintenance needs.
  • Oversee vendor activities, including scheduling and monitoring progress to ensure quality of work.
  • Provide constant attention to all life safety issues and ensure building emergency systems are operational.
  • Inspect and direct janitorial service providers to ensure cleaning standards are met.
  • Report facility issues to the theatre General Manager and seek technical support as needed.
  • Develop and implement routine systems to monitor problem areas and ensure consistent maintenance and repair methods.
  • Work with the General Manager to ensure Film Crew procedures support a clean, safe, and well-maintained environment for associates and guests.
  • Understand and track theatre Variable Operating Expenses (VOE) related to maintenance, repairs, and supplies.
Requirements
  • Age 18 or older; other location-specific age requirements may apply.
  • Six months of supervisory or commensurate leadership experience.
Working Conditions
  • Standing, walking, lifting, twisting, and bending on a frequent basis.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and carry it up to 90 feet.
