Baird's Financial Advisors provide advice, strategies, and solutions to high-net worth individuals and families across the United States. As a Client Specialist Trainee, you will play a critical role in supporting our Financial Advisors and helping clients achieve their goals.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Coordinate client onboarding, including managing Financial Advisor prospect pipelines, assisting with proposal generation, and preparing new account paperwork.
  • Gain knowledge of and partner with Baird's Corporate Resource Groups to provide the best solutions to clients.
  • Answer incoming phone calls and handle them appropriately.
  • Schedule client appointments and conference rooms as needed.
  • Ensure business adherence with firm and financial industry regulatory policies.
  • Maintain Client Relationship Management (CRM) systems for Financial Advisors and leverage the platform to manage client relationships.
  • Coordinate seminars and client events, develop client lists, design materials, and create PowerPoint presentations.
  • Manage the team's social media presence and initiate transactions required to fully service client accounts.
  • Enter security orders and provide backup support to other teams and the branch as needed.

Requirements:
  • Excellent client/customer service skills and good verbal and written communication skills.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office suite and ability to learn Baird's Private Wealth Management technology platforms.
  • Detail-oriented with an emphasis on accuracy and organized with consistent ability to prioritize workflow.
  • Good analytical and critical problem-solving skills and high school diploma required (Associate's or Bachelor's degree a plus).
  • Ability to study for and obtain the Securities Industry Essentials (SIE) Exam and Series 7 and 66 licensures within 18 months of hire.
