Key Responsibilities

Oversee and execute the quality assessment of annual billing reconciliations, yearly budgets, and quarterly forecasts for designated properties.

Develop a thorough understanding of client accounting needs, effectively communicate these requirements to property teams, and ensure compliance with client standards.

Act as a key resource for property teams, facilitating procedural coordination, addressing accounting inquiries, and responding to client concerns.
Support the implementation of training programs designed for both corporate staff and property-level accounting teams.
Engage in special projects in collaboration with the Finance Director as necessary.
Familiarity with Yardi or similar client accounting platforms is essential.
Ability to comprehend and analyze retail lease agreements.
Manage cash flow activities between ownership and property teams.
Supervise a team of 2-4 staff members.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field.
4-6 years of experience in public or private accounting, with a preference for real estate accounting. Supervisory experience is essential.
CPA designation is preferred.
Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, and familiar with Yardi software.
Strong understanding of GAAP principles.
