Position Overview

The Hotels & Hospitality Group at Jones Lang LaSalle is seeking a motivated and qualified professional with relevant experience in hospitality or real estate to join our team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist team members in securing listings, marketing, and finalizing real estate transactions.
  • Analyze financial data from profit and loss statements for valuation models; input financial data as necessary.
  • Utilize the Uniform System of Accounts for Hotels to process raw financial data.
  • Conduct independent asset valuations employing discounted cash flow, income capitalization, leveraged IRR, comparable sales, and construction cost methodologies.
  • Assess and implement value enhancement strategies for underwriting purposes under the guidance of senior team members.
  • Gather and present qualitative and quantitative information to support the transaction process.
  • Prepare presentations, offering materials, and various reports independently.
  • Review legal documents, agreements, licenses, and third-party reports relevant to transactions.
  • Engage in limited client-facing communications on a technical level.
  • Oversee and review the work performed by analysts.

Qualifications:

  • 2-3 years of experience in financial or real estate transactions.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Finance, Hotel Administration, or Real Estate Finance.
  • Strong academic performance.
  • Demonstrated quantitative abilities.
  • Experience in the hospitality industry is preferred but not mandatory.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong organizational capabilities.
  • Ability to work independently while maintaining team rapport.
  • Flexibility to work beyond standard business hours and on weekends as required.
  • Proficient in computer applications (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, etc.).
  • Attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Candidates must be authorized to work in the United States.
  • Willingness to travel domestically and internationally.
