Job Summary

The University of Colorado Boulder seeks a dynamic and innovative Director to lead the Musicians' Wellness Program. This esteemed individual will be responsible for developing and implementing a comprehensive wellness strategy to support the physical, emotional, and mental well-being of musicians within the College of Music.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and lead the Musicians' Wellness Program, collaborating with the embedded psychotherapist and other campus partners to provide academic and clinical services.
  • Teach courses and coordinate curriculum development to promote wellness and resilience among musicians.
  • Work closely with stakeholders to advance the well-being of students, faculty, and staff within the College of Music.
  • Participate in regional and national recruiting efforts to attract top talent to the program.
Requirements
  • Master's degree or higher in a relevant field, plus a distinguished record of professional, creative, and/or scholarly activities.
  • Certification and/or experience providing a wellness-based practice, such as the Alexander Technique, Body Mapping, Feldenkrais, Yoga, Psychotherapy, or Physical Therapy.
  • 3 years of teaching experience in a related field, with a focus on working with musicians.
  • Experience in program development and leadership, grant writing, and fundraising.
