Business Development Leader Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled Business Development Leader to join our team at GRAEF, a leading U.S. consulting firm. As a Business Development Leader, you will be responsible for developing and implementing strategic business development plans to drive growth and revenue in our Facilities and Municipal market sectors in Illinois.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct business development initiatives to identify and pursue new business opportunities
  • Develop and maintain relationships with key clients and stakeholders
  • Project oversight, including setting priorities and developing objectives, project financial management, and hands-on involvement in the design process
  • Serve as a technical resource for a multi-disciplined team
  • Client management, including making fluent presentations, contract negotiations, and client development activities

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering (preferred) or Architecture
  • Minimum of 8 years of experience developing and managing a technical market or business development, along with selling technical services to architectural and industrial clients in IL
  • Success in business development planning, including developing strategic business plans, marketing activities, client development, presentation experience, and proposal development
  • Established architectural relationships strongly preferred
  • Technical project management experience is desired
  • Professional PE or Architecture license required
  • Proven leadership experience is highly preferred
