The Role

We are seeking a customer-focused professional to join our Client Services Department as a Client Services Associate. In this role, you will support the execution of Curi's client experience and retention strategies. You will serve as a direct liaison between the company and physicians and practice administrators, working closely with key functional areas to ensure a high level of insured satisfaction and maximize policy retention and profitability.

Key Responsibilities

  • Act as the primary company contact for assigned policies, ensuring a readily accessible and responsive representative for client needs.
  • Manage and retain MPL policies within assigned books, ensuring a high level of client satisfaction.
  • Prepare and present renewal policy presentations to direct clients, educating them on policy enhancements, coverage changes, pricing modifications, and more.
  • Support the Underwriting department in identifying and making needed or desired MPL policy changes, as well as supporting the Finance department with common client inquiries.
  • Manage the issuance and renewal of cyber-liability and/or broad regulatory policies to clients within the CSA's assigned book.
  • Ensure comprehensive and current information/documentation is maintained in relevant systems and platforms.
  • Provide ongoing training and education to direct insureds on Curi member benefits, online client portal, new company initiatives, and overall mission.
  • Create and maintain consultative relationships with assigned insureds to promote the value proposition for Curi's enterprise-wide platforms, offerings, and services.
  • Makes consistent business decisions, supports company underwriting guidelines and pricing philosophies, and maintains collegial relationships with members of other Curi departments and divisions.
  • Stays alert for and advises company of any industry information, market intelligence, competitor products/services/strategic initiatives that could positively or adversely affect Curi.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent plus three years of professional customer service experience in the insurance, banking, financial services, etc. industry; OR
  • Bachelor's degree plus one year of professional customer service experience in the insurance, banking, financial services, etc. industry
  • Property & Casualty Agent license required or obtained within six months of employment.
  • Previous underwriting or account management experience within the MPL industry and/or in medical practice administration preferred.
  • Willingness to work mountain time zone work hours.
