Job Summary:
The Associate Client Services Specialist will be part of a dynamic team responsible for all onboarding, data research, and processing functions on the Loan Operations Team. This team primarily supports ClearPar users and their system functionality needs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support clients and the business with operational duties and all trade support functions to ensure sufficient trade and syndicated facility data integrity.
- Provide onboarding support for new clients, their team members, and accounts as requested to ensure a smooth and effective quality-controlled onboarding process across multiple products.
- Adhere to processing deadlines, quality-controlled operational processes, and LSTA/LMA standards for processing and closure of primary and secondary par loan transactions and/or trades.
- Proactively identify internal and external trade and system-related issues effectively and work seamlessly with internal partners and management on resolution plans and/or additional escalations.
- Capture and channel user feedback through proper communication and listening skills and partner with leaders, peers, product associates, sales, and relationship managers on required projects to service clients and facilitate the continuous improvement of products and services.
- Cross-train with neighboring divisions of the firm to provide an agile workforce capable of handling issues and engaging with joint clients.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience.
- Ability to handle stressful customer situations with patience and poise.
- Organize and prioritize complex issues and projects to completion.
- Demonstrate knowledge and experience in working with internet-based applications.
- Think laterally, provide proper issue analyses, and question current processes.
- Eager to learn with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Proficient PC skills, especially in Microsoft Word and Excel.
- Strong process improvement skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, or related field.
- 1-3 years of work experience within the financial and/or syndicated loan industry.
- New graduates with a strong interest in client management or operations can be considered.
- Strong MS Office skills.
- Power BI and/or Tableau experience.
