Job Overview

Stevenson Consulting, Inc. is seeking a highly skilled Construction Services Manager to join our team in Ashland, VA.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support the operational management of a branch office, ensuring seamless day-to-day operations and effective team management.
  • Develop and implement a comprehensive construction quality control program, driving excellence in project delivery and client satisfaction.
  • Assist with business development activities, including estimating and proposal preparation, to drive growth and revenue.
  • Maintain strong client relationships through effective communication and issue resolution.
  • Manage projects from inception to completion, ensuring timely delivery and budget adherence.
  • Enforce company operating procedures and policies, promoting a culture of compliance and integrity.
  • Manage subconsultants, ensuring their work meets Stevenson Consulting's high standards.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Geotechnical Engineering, Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
  • At least 6 years of progressive experience in the construction industry, including knowledge of and experience with materials testing & inspections.
  • Demonstrated experience leading teams to meet organizational and departmental goals.
  • Experience with geotechnical services is preferred.
  • Highly organized, ethical, and self-motivated individual with strong problem-solving ability.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Local candidates with knowledge of Mid-Atlantic business and industry practices are preferred.
  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
