About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented EHS Professional to join our team at Pace. As an EHS Professional, you will play a critical role in ensuring the safety and well-being of our employees, customers, and the environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Monthly Safety Surveys: Conduct monthly safety surveys to identify potential hazards and implement corrective actions to prevent incidents.
  • Incident Investigation and Reporting: Investigate and document incidents, identify root causes, and implement measures to prevent reoccurrence.
  • Waste Management: Verify waste stream profiles and waste inventory, ensure accurate waste labeling, and implement waste storage and handling procedures.
  • Hazard Review and Documentation: Conduct hazard reviews, document findings, and identify processes that require a hazard review.
  • Lab Safety and Compliance: Participate in monthly Tech Forum Lab Safety meetings, communicate EHS updates to committees, and provide respirator fit tests.
  • Machine Guarding and Lab Commissioning: Conduct machine guarding assessments and provide technical support for lab moves and commissioning.
  • Communication and Collaboration: Maintain active communication with customer personnel and collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure EHS compliance.
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Environmental Health and Safety, Industrial Hygiene, Chemistry, Biology, or related field.
  • Experience: 1+ year of EHS and/or Chemistry experience, OSHA 30 and/or Hazwoper 40 preferred.
  • Skills: Ability to identify improvement opportunities, develop plans to close gaps, and track improvement initiatives to closure. Risk analysis skills, capable of hazard and risk identification, assessment, and controls.
