Job Summary:

The Channel Partner Manager at Barrier Technologies is responsible for developing and managing relationships with channel partners to drive sales and revenue. They will play a key role in identifying, onboarding, and supporting partners while also managing the performance of existing partners.

This position is primarily remote and 50% travel, with regular attendance at monthly meetings at our HQ office in Lenexa, KS.

Duties/Responsibilities:
  • Responsible for achieving established revenue targets through channel partner sales.
  • Responsible for maintaining positive and engaging relationships with channel partners.
  • Educate partners on our services and products, providing ongoing training, including webinars, presentations, meetings, and materials.
  • Measure and report on the performance of channel partners, using metrics such as activity, quotes, sales, and revenue.
  • Collaborate with the marketing department to develop training materials and sales materials for channel partners.
  • Work with channel partners to develop a pipeline of initiatives to increase sales.
  • Collaborate with the internal sales team to ensure success with peer accountability through Key Performance Indicators and continuous training on how to sell through channel partners.
  • Develop and implement channel partner programs, such as incentives.
  • Attend industry events and conferences to build relationships and promote the company.
Requirements and Preferred Experience:
  • 5+ years of experience in sales (B2B service sales preferred).
  • 3+ years of experience selling through channel partners preferred.
  • 2+ years of experience in channel partner management preferred.
  • Experience selling services to the Healthcare Industry preferred.
  • Proven ability to build and maintain relationships with partners to the point they become your advocate.
  • Experience navigating complex and difficult vendor/customer problems and negotiating to a positive outcome and satisfaction for everyone.
  • Proficiency in customer relationship management (CRM) software.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, with experience presenting to partners and stakeholders.
  • Ability to analyze data and trends to make informed decisions.
  • Results-oriented with a focus on achieving sales and revenue targets.
Education:
  • Bachelor's degree in business or related field preferred.

  • Ability to travel up to 50% of the time.
