Job Summary

Cimarron is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Regional Sales Manager to join our team. As a Regional Sales Manager, you will be responsible for establishing and maintaining business relationships with current and prospective customers in the assigned territory/market segment to generate new business for our company's products and services.

Key Responsibilities

  • Establish, foster, and maintain business relationships with current and prospective customers in the assigned territory/market segment.
  • Makes telephone calls, in-person visits, and presentations to existing and prospective customers at corporate and/or field headquarters.
  • Navigates within organizations to influence decision makers using technical, commercial, and solutions-based skills and experience.
  • Research sources for developing prospective customers' information to determine their potential.
  • Gather market intelligence in the upstream oil & gas market, including competitors.
  • Self-motivated individual with a strong bias toward action.
  • Expedites the resolution of customer challenges and concerns.
  • Ability to execute corporate sales strategy at the highest levels within current and prospective customers.
  • Plans and organizes personal sales strategy.
  • Supplies management with oral and written reports on customer needs, problems, interests, competitive activities, and the potential for new products and services.
  • Supports organizational success with timely communication and coordination with other sales team members.
  • Keeps abreast of product applications, technical services, market conditions, competitive activities, and advertising and promotional trends through the reading of pertinent literature.
  • Participate in trade shows and conventions.
  • Adheres to company policies, procedures, and rules.
  • Create and maintain a safe and sanitary working environment.
  • Maintain a positive, team-oriented attitude.
  • Must be a person of influence with a strong moral compass and impeccable ethics personally and professionally.

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications:

  • Must possess a bachelor's degree in a related field of study.
  • 3 years of sales experience in oil & gas upstream and midstream environmental control equipment and services.
  • Valid driver's license: position requires some travel, mostly driving.
  • Demonstrated maturity to work independently and in front of groups.
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to stand, sit, and/or walk on a hard surface as well as safely bend, stoop, reach, climb steps, and use a ladder.
  • Lift up to 25 pounds.

  • Vision to accurately read all related distribution documents and computer monitor screens.
