About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Regional Sales Manager to lead our industrial channel sales efforts in the Southwestern US territory. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for promoting nVent's Industrial Heating Solutions (IHS) capabilities and developing strong relationships with industrial clients in the region.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead industrial channel sales in the Southwestern US territory, focusing on the sale of RAYCHEM, TRACER, and PYROTENAX products.
  • Promote nVent's IHS capabilities to secure product and services business related to capital project, sustaining, and maintenance opportunities.
  • Initiate, maintain, and grow strong relationships with industrial clients in the Southwestern US territory.
  • Collaborate with existing manufacturer's rep firms in the region to drive sales growth.
  • Work with the Regional Sales & Operations Leadership teams to establish and implement strategies and plans to drive growth.
  • Coordinate Proposal & Estimating activities to secure new product and service opportunities.
  • Prepare and present strategic IHS product and services presentations to engineering & owner clients.
  • Regularly update and lead the Salesforce.com CRM tool to track sales funnel development and cross-territorial teamwork.
Requirements
  • An academic background in a technical field is preferred.
  • Ideally 5+ years of related work experience in industrial sales, with a preference for an electrical sales background.
  • Experience leading 3rd party manufacturing rep agencies or distribution is a plus.
  • Ability to work from a home office in the sales region and travel 60% of the time on average.
  • Integrity, passion, and outstanding in-person presentation skills.
  • Solid understanding of technical sales principles, methods, practices, and techniques.
  • Outstanding listening, written, and verbal communication skills.
  • Self-motivated, with high energy and an engaging level of passion.

nVent's pay scale is based on the expected range of total target cash pay for this job and the employee's work location. Total target cash is comprised of an employee's base salary and sales incentive target opportunity, when annual sales goals are achieved.

Employee pay within this range will be based on a combination of factors including knowledge, skills, abilities, experience, education, and performance. Where federal, state, or local minimum wage requirements exist, employee pay will comply.

If annual sales performance exceeds annual sales goals, the total target cash received may exceed the pay scale maximum reflected below.

Geographic Region A: $101,400.00 - $188,300.00 +Geographic Region B: $110,600.00 - $205,400.00 +Geographic Region C: $96,300.00 - $178,800.00 +
