Job OverviewPosition: Sales Operations Manager

The Sales Operations Manager is responsible for supervising the daily functions of the sales division, ensuring that sales methodologies are effective, scalable, and in line with the organization's strategic goals. This position entails managing sales analytics, enhancing sales tools and platforms, and equipping the sales team with the insights and resources necessary to meet revenue objectives. The Sales Operations Manager will also work closely with various departments to optimize workflows and enhance sales outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee and refine sales methodologies, tools, and platforms to boost the productivity and effectiveness of the sales team.
  • Examine sales analytics and performance indicators to uncover trends, opportunities, and areas for enhancement.
  • Formulate and execute sales operations strategies to facilitate the attainment of revenue goals and organizational objectives.
  • Manage the upkeep and administration of the CRM system, ensuring data integrity and uniformity.
  • Deliver precise forecasts, reports, and dashboards to the sales team to track performance and guide decision-making.
  • Collaborate with the sales leadership to devise sales strategies, quotas, and incentive structures.
  • Coordinate with marketing, finance, and product teams to ensure coherence between sales operations and other business areas.
  • Assist in the onboarding, training, and development of sales personnel, providing resources and guidance on best practices.
  • Oversee the sales pipeline and guarantee effective lead distribution and follow-up processes.
  • Lead initiatives aimed at enhancing sales productivity, including process automation, tool deployment, and workflow refinement.
  • Monitor and report on sales performance metrics, including KPIs, revenue, and sales cycle duration, presenting findings to senior management.
  • Ensure adherence to company policies, industry standards, and best practices in sales operations.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Marketing, or a related discipline; an MBA or relevant advanced degree is advantageous.
  • 4-6 years of experience in sales operations, sales management, or a comparable role.
  • Strong grasp of sales methodologies, CRM platforms, and sales analytics tools.
  • Demonstrated success in enhancing sales operations and supporting revenue growth.
  • Exceptional analytical abilities with the capacity to interpret data and provide actionable recommendations.
  • Strong communication and leadership capabilities, with the ability to collaborate effectively across various departments.
  • Proficiency in CRM software (e.g., Salesforce), sales automation tools, and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Aptitude for managing multiple projects and priorities in a dynamic environment.
  • Familiarity with industry best practices in sales operations and process enhancement.
  • Experience in training and developing sales teams is a plus.
  • Professional certifications in sales operations or related fields are desirable.
