Job Overview

MEDIUM / HEAVY DUTY TRUCK TECHNICIAN

i.g. Burton Auto Group, a leading employer on Delmarva, seeks a skilled and motivated medium / heavy duty truck technician to join our Bus & Truck Center team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform routine maintenance and repairs on medium / heavy duty trucks and buses
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot complex technical issues
  • Work with a variety of engine types, including Cummins / GM diesel and Ford gas / propane
  • Collaborate with colleagues to ensure efficient and effective service delivery

Requirements:

  • At least 2 years of experience in a repair facility
  • Well-rounded knowledge of medium / heavy duty trucks and / or buses
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Basic understanding of electronic diagnostics, electrical and wiring, and air systems and brakes
