Key Responsibilities:
  • Service equipment correctly on the first attempt to avoid unnecessary downtime.
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks, including inspections and repairs, to ensure equipment is in good working condition.
  • Dismantle and reassemble/rebuild equipment as needed.
  • Diagnose and repair standard mechanical equipment problems.
  • Fabricate parts as needed to meet equipment requirements.
  • Perform safety inspections on equipment and maintain a clean and safe working environment.
  • Operate equipment and perform maintenance on company vehicle fleet and jobsites.
  • Service orders should be completed accurately and concisely, using computer systems when applicable.
Requirements:
  • A minimum 1-3 years of experience repairing and maintaining heavy construction equipment, or vocational training in lieu of experience.
  • High School diploma required.
  • Able to read schematics (both hydraulic and electrical).
  • Perform annual certifications and inspections.
  • Capable of accomplishing tasks independently without direct supervision.
