Patient Access Representative II

We are seeking a highly skilled Patient Access Representative II to join our team at Conifer Revenue Cycle Solutions. As a key member of our patient access team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth and efficient registration process for our patients.
Key Responsibilities- Perform patient registration duties, including obtaining complete and accurate demographic information, and ensuring compliance with financial and cash control policies and procedures.
- Employ proper and compliant patient liability collection techniques, both before and after date of service.
- Verify insurance, benefits, coverage, and eligibility, and obtain necessary authorizations for scheduled and unscheduled hospital services.
- Assist with scheduling and coordinating post-discharge care for patients, as needed.
- High school diploma or equivalent required; some college coursework preferred.
- 0-1 year of customer service experience, with 0-1 year of administrative experience in a medical facility, health insurance, or related area preferred.
- Minimum typing skills of 35 wpm and demonstrated working knowledge of PC/CRT/printer required.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with excellent communication and customer service skills.
This role requires the ability to work in a hospital administration setting, with potential exposure to life-threatening patient conditions. Must be available to work hours and days as needed, based on departmental/system demands.
