Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Patient Access Representative II to join our team at Conifer Revenue Cycle Solutions. As a key member of our patient access team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth and efficient registration process for our patients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform scheduling, registration, and patient pre-admission and admission functions to support departmental efficiencies.
  • Obtain complete and accurate patient demographic information, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Employ proper and compliant patient liability collection techniques before, during, and after date of service.
  • Provide exceptional customer service, greeting patients and families with a warm and welcoming demeanor.
  • Assist with scheduling diagnostic procedures, entering data into the scheduling system, and providing patients with appointment instructions.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; some college coursework preferred.
  • 0-1 year of experience in a customer service role, with a background in medical facilities, health insurance, or a related area.
  • Minimum typing skills of 35 wpm and demonstrated working knowledge of PC/CRT/printer.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Work Environment

As a Patient Access Representative II, you will work in a hospital administration setting, with potential exposure to life-threatening patient conditions. You must be able to sit at a computer terminal for extended periods, occasionally lift/carry items weighing up to 25 lbs, and frequently stand, sit, and walk.
