Job Summary

The Specialty Pharmaceutical Representative will be responsible for promoting Intrarosa & Femring to OB/GYNs throughout an assigned geographic territory. This role requires a strong knowledge of the product, customer, and territory, as well as excellent communication and relationship-building skills.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain relationships with Health Care Providers by educating them about product features, benefits, safety profile, and approved indications.
  • Provide value to Health Care Professionals, Office Staff, and Decision Makers through face-to-face discussions and product promotions.
  • Meet and exceed sales goals and objectives, while maintaining a high level of product knowledge and customer understanding.
  • Travel approximately 30% of the time, with some overnight travel required.

Requirements

  • BA/BS (or higher) from an accredited college or university, with a focus in business, life science, or clinical degree preferred.
  • Minimum of 1 year of previous pharmaceutical, medical device, and medical sales experience, or outside/field B2B experience, or previous experience as a Labor & Delivery Nurse or other clinical professional with current relationships with OB/GYNs in the assigned territory.
  • Consistent track record of quantifiable/documented sales accomplishments is preferred.
  • Demonstrated ability to plan, analyze, and act upon sales data within an assigned geography.
  • Solid and persuasive business communication with physicians and providers.
  • Ability to work independently and exercise good business judgment and discretion, and to analyze and address territory opportunities.
  • Familiarity with a Sales Force Automation (SFA) application is preferred.
  • Computer Skills: proficiency in business software such as Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
