Position Overview
As a Sales Professional, you will be responsible for vehicle sales while meeting dealership standards for gross profit, volume, and customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:
- Understand that customer satisfaction is the foundation of our business and strive to ensure every customer is satisfied.
- Assess each customer's vehicle needs through effective questioning and active listening.
- Conduct vehicle demonstrations, including test drives.
- Facilitate vehicle deliveries, ensuring customers comprehend the vehicle's features, warranty, and necessary paperwork, thereby fostering customer loyalty.
- Set personal income goals aligned with dealership productivity standards and devise strategies to achieve them.
- Report to the Vehicle Sales Manager regarding objectives, planned activities, and performance reviews.
- Stay informed about incoming inventory, features, and accessories to effectively communicate their benefits to customers.
- Collaborate with the service department to ensure vehicles are reconditioned as expected and on schedule.
- Attend sales meetings and training sessions provided by the dealership and manufacturer.
- Maintain a prospect development system and an owner follow-up system to encourage repeat and referral business.
- Regularly review and analyze performance to optimize time management and planning.
- Understand automotive terminology and keep updated on technological advancements in the industry.
- Be knowledgeable about equity, values, and depreciation to explain these concepts to customers.
- Introduce customers to service department personnel to highlight the quality and efficiency of available services.
- Adhere to all company safety policies and procedures, promptly reporting any incidents to management.
Compensation:
The average annual salary ranges from $60,000 to $240,000, based on performance. The compensation structure includes an hourly wage between $18.00 and $20.00, along with an advance of $2,100. Commission compensation is based on closed sales, with no upper limit based on performance.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Ability to read and comprehend instructions and information.
- Valid in-state driver's license.
- Professional appearance and excellent communication skills.
- Capability to meet sales quotas as per dealership standards.
All applicants must be authorized to work in the USA and demonstrate the ability to pass pre-employment testing, including background checks, MVR, drug tests, credit reports, and valid driver's licenses.
