Job Summary and Qualifications
As a CT Imaging Technologist, you will be responsible for performing a variety of diagnostic imaging procedures, including brain, spine, facial, sinus, thorax, abdomen, pelvis, and extremities. Your commitment to patient care is paramount, and we are looking for individuals who prioritize the well-being of others.

Key Responsibilities:
- Select appropriate technical parameters for studies and perform diagnostic CT examinations with accuracy and compassion.
- Maintain thorough operational knowledge of CT equipment, pressure injectors, resuscitation tools, laser filmers, and teleradiology systems.
- Assist in administering contrast media and related procedures.
- Prepare, transfer, and position patients while ensuring their comfort and modesty, utilizing necessary equipment.
- Document all relevant clinical information prior to examinations, obtain informed consent, and complete all required fields within the electronic health record system promptly and accurately.
- Ensure high-quality CT images are obtained for interpretation and remain proficient in software protocols, keeping abreast of industry changes through continuous education.
- Communicate effectively with patients and colleagues, including radiologists, to ensure optimal care.
- Regularly check equipment functionality, maintain cleanliness to prevent cross-contamination, and ensure examination rooms are well-stocked with necessary supplies.
- Accept on-call and callback responsibilities as required to provide exceptional patient care.

Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or equivalent, along with college or technical training.
- Valid ARRT (CT) certification.
- Clear and active Florida Department of Health licensure (CRT).
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- Ability to perform physical tasks, including frequent standing, bending, reaching, squatting, kneeling, and lifting patients or equipment up to 100 lbs.
- A minimum of 1 year of recent experience as a CT Technologist, preferably in an acute-care hospital setting.
