Diagnostic Imaging Technologist

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Diagnostic Imaging Technologist to join our team at HCA Florida Sarasota Doctors Hospital. As a key member of our diagnostic imaging department, you will play a critical role in ensuring the highest level of patient care and satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities- Operate and maintain computed tomography (CT) scanners and other diagnostic imaging equipment to produce high-quality images for medical diagnosis and treatment.
- Prepare patients for imaging procedures, including explaining the process, positioning them correctly, and ensuring their safety and comfort.
- Document all pertinent clinical information prior to exams, obtain informed consent, and complete all required fields within the electronic medical record system.
- Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate and timely diagnosis and treatment of patients.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in diagnostic imaging technology and techniques to maintain proficiency and provide the highest level of patient care.
- Current licensure as a Registered Technologist (CRT) in the state of Florida.
- Minimum of 1-3 years of experience in diagnostic radiology, preferably in an acute-care hospital setting.
- Ability to perform work that requires frequent standing, bending, reaching, squatting, kneeling, moving, and/or lifting of patients/equipment up to 50 lbs.
