Position Overview:

As a Nuclear Medicine PET/CT Technologist, you will play a crucial role in the healthcare team by administering radiopharmaceuticals and utilizing advanced imaging technologies to assist in the diagnosis of diseases. Your expertise will ensure that high-quality images are obtained for accurate assessments.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Administer radiopharmaceuticals and radiation to patients under the supervision of a physician.
  • Utilize radiation-producing and detection equipment to capture viable images for diagnostic purposes.
  • Ensure compliance with safety protocols and maintain a safe environment for patients and staff.

Qualifications:

Candidates must possess a dual Florida license (CRT), Nuclear Medicine Technologist (NMTCB), and General Radiographer (ARRT) (R). A minimum of two years of experience as a PET/CT Technologist is preferred. A Bachelor's Degree in Radiology Sciences or Nuclear Medicine is advantageous. A valid BLS/CPR certification is required, with AHA certification preferred. Proficiency in English, along with strong communication skills, is essential.
