PepsiCo is seeking a driven and proactive individual eager to contribute positively to the organization. The Compensation Strategy Analyst role, part of the People Experience & Operations team, will primarily assist the Quaker North America and Frito Lay North America sectors (PepsiCo Foods North America) with an emphasis on operations within the United States. This significant and highly visible position offers the selected candidate exposure to various levels and functions within the organization, serving as a foundation for a rewarding career at PepsiCo. The analyst will collaborate closely with the People function and business leaders to implement optimized compensation strategies that align with the frontline labor agenda across the Quaker Supply Chain and Frito Lay Sales divisions. This role will involve executing frontline compensation initiatives while identifying opportunities for ongoing process enhancements in effective pay program management that align with the strategic objectives of the business, ultimately improving the experience for employees, managers, and People Function professionals through transformative initiatives. Furthermore, the position will emphasize how Total Rewards programs can be effectively utilized by clients through capability enhancement, resource development, and educational initiatives.

Key Responsibilities
  • Offer advisory and consultative support regarding Total Rewards to the People function in the daily execution of frontline compensation initiatives.
  • Assist in initiatives aimed at enhancing the administration of frontline compensation programs, thereby improving the overall experience and positively influencing the management of frontline pay.
  • Oversee the Wage Review Processes to establish competitive pay levels for non-union frontline roles based on market analysis, intelligence, and business requirements to support union avoidance strategies.
  • Develop a comprehensive understanding of client needs related to Total Rewards programs.
  • Identify and propose transformation opportunities to promote harmonized and simplified end-to-end process improvements.
  • Collaborate with Total Rewards colleagues across divisions to create consistent and sustainable resources and tools that enhance the capabilities of the People function and frontline leaders in optimizing pay program administration.
  • Lead training and informational sessions with client groups.
  • Support the Quaker and Frito Lay labor teams by providing competitive data for union negotiations to facilitate favorable outcomes and prevent business disruptions.
Compensation and Benefits Overview:
  • The anticipated compensation range for this role is between $66,300 - $125,900 based on a full-time schedule.
  • Factors such as location, confirmed job-related skills, and experience will be considered in determining the actual starting salary.
  • Performance-based bonuses may be available, with a target payout of 5% of annual salary, distributed annually.
  • Paid time off is subject to eligibility, including parental leave, vacation, sick leave, and bereavement.

Qualifications
  • Proven ability to manage projects and juggle multiple tasks in a dynamic work environment.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and financial modeling capabilities.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in communicating and influencing decision-making with business partners, both verbally and in writing, including effective presentation skills.
  • Ability to work independently on projects from inception to execution with a sense of urgency.
  • Competence in collecting, evaluating, and analyzing data to provide actionable recommendations.
  • Consultative approach with the ability to build credible relationships with business partners.
  • Minimum of 2 years of progressive experience in Total Rewards or HR generalist roles.
  • Master's or Bachelor's degree in business or a related field.
  • Understanding of business operations from both strategic and tactical perspectives.
