Position: Marketing Analyst

Location: Remote/Hybrid

Employment Type: Contract

Overview:

Epitec is in search of a meticulous and analytical Marketing Analyst to enhance our team and oversee the quarterly strategic planning initiatives. The successful candidate will prioritize the upkeep of the weekly promotional and marketing schedule, perform promotional evaluations, and facilitate processes while ensuring effective communication with various departments to provide necessary support.

  • Work Arrangement: Hybrid – On-site from Monday to Thursday; Remote on Fridays.
  • Compensation: $52 - 56/hour with optional benefits.

Key Responsibilities:

1) Management of Quarterly Strategic Planning

  • Supervise the Quarterly Strategic Planning process to guarantee alignment with corporate objectives.
  • Continuously enhance and refine QSP procedures for improved efficiency and effectiveness.

2) Maintenance of Weekly Calendar

  • Update and manage the weekly calendar, ensuring all activities and deadlines are accurately monitored and communicated.

3) Promotional Evaluation

  • Conduct comprehensive analyses of promotional activities to evaluate their effectiveness.
  • Deliver insights and recommendations based on promotional performance metrics.
  • Model channel-specific analyses of promotional expenditure efficiency and identify opportunities to optimize national promotional investments.
  • For post-campaign evaluations, compile and assess performance data from various internal and external sources.
  • Aggregate and analyze data from primary, secondary, and third-party sources to inform national promotional strategies.
  • Generate analyses and insights to support the development of acquisition and retention strategies for specific sales channels.

4) Process Management

  • Oversee and enhance business processes related to the QSP.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement necessary changes.

Essential Skills:

  • Strong analytical skills, business acumen, and financial process management expertise are required. Familiarity with carrier business, including acquisition and retention costs, is preferred.
  • Ability to consolidate data from diverse sources and create financial models and profitability analyses to inform key business decisions.
  • Proficient in Excel (including pivot tables and data visualization) and PowerPoint, with the capability to translate financial models into strategic communications.

Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of experience in financial analysis, business analytics, and project management is preferred.
  • Strong analytical skills, financial acumen, and budget management experience are essential.
  • A proactive self-starter with a proven ability to aggregate and consolidate data from various sources.
  • Exceptional oral and written communication skills for interaction with internal and external stakeholders at all levels.
  • Advanced proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint; experience with Tableau is required.
