Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide technical support to end-users in both office and manufacturing environments.
  • Install, configure, and maintain hardware and software systems.
  • Onboard and offboard employees in Active Directory, Office365, and Plex ERP.
  • Provision and support user devices, including desktop/laptop computers, tablets, projectors, and cell phones.
  • Assist with shop floor devices, such as Zebra printers, thin clients, and barcode scanners.
  • Help manage and maintain the company's network infrastructure, including servers, switches, and firewalls.
  • Implement and uphold security measures to protect company systems and data from unauthorized access.
  • Assist in the design, implementation, and ongoing support of new software and features.
  • Provide in-person and remote training to users as needed.
  • Evaluate and prioritize incoming requests for assistance via phone, voicemail, email, tickets, and in-person.
  • Regularly report project and assignment statuses to management.
  • Identify, research, and resolve technical problems, confirming the success of actions taken.
  • Stay up to date with new technologies and IT advancements to pinpoint areas for departmental improvement.

Requirements:

  • Exceptional customer service skills.
  • Ability to work in hot, cold, and dusty environments on shop floor computers, network equipment, and printers.
  • Strong technical skills and knowledge of hardware and software systems.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
