Job Overview
The Technical Operations Leader is tasked with overseeing Alpine's Engineering and Maintenance sector to support the high-volume stamping production.

This position guarantees that the machinery utilized for the creation of both new and existing materials operates at peak efficiency and output.

This role not only focuses on enhancing operational excellence in production equipment performance but also includes the training and development of all technical and support personnel, the formulation of top-tier technical processes, and initiatives aimed at cost reduction while fostering employee health and safety throughout the facility.


Key Responsibilities:


1. Lead, mentor, and cultivate a high-performing technical team that aligns with plant and business objectives, establishing best practice engineering processes while driving ongoing improvements in production equipment performance, quality, plant throughput, scrap reduction, maintenance, repair and operations (MRO) expenditure, and overall facility safety.


2. Collaborate with operations leadership to formulate Annual and Long-Range Plan budgets, ensuring alignment with company requirements for capital investments and improvement initiatives, while executing engineering and maintenance capital expenditure projects.


3. Plan, define, and oversee project timelines for individuals and teams after identifying customer requirements.


4. Coordinate activities related to technical advancements, scheduling, and resolving engineering design and testing challenges, while reporting results and status as necessary.


5. Collaborate with Alpine's commercial teams to address customer requirements.


6. Actively engage in the plant safety program by proactively promoting safety training, conducting plant and departmental safety audits, performing hazard assessments, and ensuring timely resolution of open safety issues.


7. Deliver continuous enhancements in safety, quality, and customer service.


8. Partner with suppliers to develop efficient manufacturing processes in engineering, maintenance, and tool & die.


9. Supervise the Maintenance Supervisor to spearhead facility maintenance initiatives, including building upkeep, energy management, and general facility contracts, by proactively managing all suppliers and contractors to ensure compliance with all legal and safety company standards.
