Job Title: General Manager

Planet Fitness is seeking a highly motivated and experienced General Manager to lead our team at our Cleveland, TN location.

Job Summary:

The General Manager is responsible for the overall management and operation of the fitness center, ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction and member retention. This includes supervising staff, managing day-to-day operations, and maintaining a clean and safe environment for members.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Supervise and train staff to ensure excellent customer service and member experience
  • Manage day-to-day operations, including scheduling, payroll, and inventory
  • Maintain a clean and safe environment, adhering to company standards and regulations
  • Develop and implement marketing strategies to increase membership and revenue
  • Monitor and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) to drive business growth and improvement
Requirements:
  • 2+ years of experience in a supervisory or management role in the fitness industry
  • Strong leadership and communication skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing circumstances
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; bachelor's degree preferred
