Key Responsibilities:

  1. Ensure all center operations comply with Donor Center Operating Procedures (DCOP) and adhere to company standards and regulatory requirements set by the FDA, EMEA, and other relevant authorities.
  2. Supervise donor center staff to uphold quality assurance protocols.
  3. Train team members to effectively manage daily operations.
  4. Promote excellent customer service skills among staff to enhance donor retention.
  5. Identify and address potential issues affecting compliance quality.
  6. Perform opening and closing tasks in the absence of the Center Manager or Assistant Manager.
  7. Maintain certification in Screening, Donor Floor, Processing, Shipping, and Receiving.
  8. Respond promptly to alarms and assist in the upkeep of the alarm system.
  9. Support management in educating new donors about various Specialty Programs.
  10. Help maintain adequate inventory levels of supplies and assist in the stocking process.
  11. Communicate relevant information to management regarding operational areas.
  12. Assist in creating weekly staffing schedules to accommodate breaks, vacations, and unexpected absences.
  13. Identify opportunities for continuous improvement in operational areas.
  14. Ensure cleanliness and professionalism in work areas.

Qualifications:

  1. High school diploma or equivalent.
  2. Availability for flexible and/or extended shifts.
  3. Strong work ethic, communication, and organizational skills.
  4. Familiarity with occupational exposure to blood-borne pathogens.
  5. Basic knowledge of computer systems and software.
  6. Proven accuracy in documentation tasks.

Physical Requirements:

  1. Ability to sit or stand for prolonged periods.
  2. Capability to lift, tug, and pull up to fifty (50) pounds.
  3. Ability to bend, stoop, or kneel as necessary.
  4. Regular exposure to blood-borne pathogens.
  5. Frequent standing and use of hands for handling objects, tools, or controls.
