Job Summary:

11th Hour Service is seeking a highly skilled Senior Enterprise Risk Management Consultant to join our team. As a key member of our advisory practice, you will be responsible for supporting government employees in developing, implementing, and executing risk management and internal control activities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and Implement Risk Management Strategies: Collaborate with government personnel to develop and implement risk management strategies that align with agency goals and objectives.
  • Internal Control Activities: Support the development and implementation of internal control activities, including process documentation, risk assessments, and control testing.
  • Process Improvement: Identify opportunities for process improvement and develop recommendations for implementation.
  • Communication and Collaboration: Develop and maintain effective relationships with government personnel, providing regular updates and progress reports.
  • Technical Expertise: Provide technical expertise in risk management and internal control, including process documentation, risk assessments, and control testing.
  • Project Management: Assist in the development and implementation of project plans, including timelines, milestones, and resource allocation.
  • Reporting and Analysis: Develop and maintain reports and analysis to support risk management and internal control activities.

Requirements:

  • Education: A four-year degree from an accredited college or university.
  • Experience: A minimum of four years of experience in disciplines related to financial management, accounting, internal controls, risk management, or auditing.
  • Skills: Working knowledge of OMB Circular A-123 and the GAO Green Book (Standard for Internal Control in the Federal Government). Experience in preparing process documentation and analyzing business processes.
